With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Edgar Emerson (Marion, Indiana), who passed away on September 14, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Jo Sullivan; his children, John (Brenda) of Elkhart and Linda Pennington (NL) of Marion; and his grandchildren, Valerie Emerson of South Bend, Shane Beal (Amy) of Marion, Samuel Martin (Laura) of Henderson, NV, Rick Pennington (Angela) of Marion and Tony Pennington of Marion.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 1206 N. Miller Ave., Marion, IN 46952.
