She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Arthur Darst and Nova Ruth Ellyson (Tomlinson). She is survived by : her husband John Lamont West of Selma, Texas; her former life partner Terrel A. Taylor of San Antonio, Texas; her children, Kent A Taylor of Sun Valley, Nevada and Melora Magill of San Antonio, Texas; her brother Richard Darst of California; and her stepchildren, Thomas N. Thomas (Thomas S. West) and Rebecca L. White. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
