He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Yanez (Martin) and Adolfo "Pancho" Yanez, Sr.; and his wife Lucinda LeeAnn Yanez. He is survived by: his children, Nichol Cardwell (Shane McVoy) of Huntington, Jaime Yanez (Nicole) of Gas City and Jose Yanez (Trisha) of Gas City; his grandchildren, Thaddeus Cardwell, Julia Wike (Connor), Dominic Cardwell, Kaleb McVoy, Izik Brummett, Elijah Yanez, Madelyn Yanez, Annabella Yanez, Sophia Yanez, Amelia Yanez and Kaison Brubaker; his siblings, Adolfo Yanez, Jr., Roberto Yanez (Leslie), Norma Blackmon and Teresa Weatherly; and his pet Gizmo. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
