She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Manuel Dungey and Ruth Augusta Gulliford (Ivens); her sons, Terry Dungey and James Carter, Jr.; and her siblings, Donna Strons, Phyllis Dungey, Gladys Bryant, Mary E. Simmons, LeeAnn Richardson, Paul Dungey and Paul J. Gulliford.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Goodwin (Kyle, Sr.) of Louisville, KY, Kevin Spurgon (Janice) of Marion and Chad E. Spurgon of Marion; her grandchildren, Danielle, Jamesisha, Dominick, Natecia, Kyle, Jr., J'Kina, Kyleisha, Kameron, Brittany, Devin, Jalon, Nyaa, Tyshaun, Mylisse and Bryanna; her siblings, Margaret Ann Jones and William L. Gulliford; and her nieces, E. Teresa Davis and Melissa Tyson (DeVol). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
