It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul F. Thompson Jr. of Marion, Indiana, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul F. Thompson Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Thompson, Sr. and Mildred Thompson; and his wife Martha N. Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Paul III (Janet) and Karen Floyd; his grandchildren, Blake Thompson (Bayli), Luke Thompson (Anne), Autumn Bridges (Peter) and Libby Floyd; his great grandchildren, Weston Bridges and Parker Hickman Floyd; and his brother Robert Thompson, Sr. of Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Marion-Grant County Senior Center, 503 S. Gallatin St., Marion, IN 46953.
