She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn "Mib" McElyea and Zola Ethel McElyea (Collinsworth); her husband Kelly Grigsby; her son Jimmy; and her siblings, Truman McElyea, Hobart McElyea, Charles McElyea, Mary Ruth McElyea, Trula Mae "Bug" Bain, Vera Epp, Betty Green and Douglas McElyea.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Clayton, Tanya Young (Frank), Sandy Brazier (Stephen) and Denise Jones (Vernon); her grandchildren, Megan Drummond (Jason), Kelsey Webb (Steven), Stacy England (Chris), Leslie Reynolds (Mike), Sara Brazier, Sela Shannon (Dan), Matt Jones and Amy Hoagland (James); her great grandchildren, Seth Drummond, Caleb Drummond, Lewis Webb, Thea Webb, Makayla Pfaff (Jacob), Logan Reynolds, Maddie England, Lily England and Lincoln Hoagland; and her close friends, Callie and Bill Choate.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Costin Funeral Chapel (539 E Washington St, Martinsville, IN 46151). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
