Jean Gearlds Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Gearlds of Martinsville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Gearlds to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Myatt (Keys) and Thad Myatt; her husband Freddie Gearlds; her adoptive son Chris Robbins; and her siblings, Joe, Darrell, Wayne Myatt, Opal Davis and Dana Logan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie West (Roger) and Coeita Bales of Martinsville, IN; her sister Shirley Crabtree (Leon); and her grandchildren, Addie Parmenter, Shae Bailey, Callie Henderson, Chris Chesser (Brianna), Zach Bales (Ashley), Isaac Bales (Kirsty) and Emily Paavola (David). She is also survived by 11 great granddaughters, 7 great grandsons, 1 great great granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harlan Crossroads Cemetery.
