He was predeceased by: his parents, Virden Leon "Butch" and Avis Maxine Fishel (Sanders); his wife Teresa K. "Terri" Fishel (Drury); his stepmother Dixie Fishel Carter; his son Steve Fishel; and his sister Carolyn Fox.
He is survived by: his children, Jared Fishel (Julie) of Martinsville, IN, Rob Paris of Martinsville, IN, Cynthia Cruse (Clay) of Franklin, IN, Megan Hemmelgarn (Brad) of Avon, IN and Julie Jessee of Martinsville, IN; his daughter-in-law Elena Fishel of Houston, TX; and his siblings, Steve Fishel (Shonnie) of Bloomington, IN, Steve Brittain of Mooresville, IN, Ruth Ann White of Mooresville, IN, Patricia Woods of Martinsville, IN, Mary Lou Gilbert (Bud) of Martinsville, IN and Delores Neal (Sam) of Gosport, IN. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center (110 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
