He was predeceased by: his father Richard Eugene Neel Sr.; and his siblings, Kathy Porter and Cecil Neel. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Melissa Neel of Martinsville; his children, Whitney Dean (Seldon), Jonathan Neel, Austin Neel, Jason Tinsley, Ricky Neel (Alisa), David Neel (Dani) and Thomas Neel (Robbi); his mother Emma Jean Neel; his sisters, Sherry Kujala, Stella Slayton and Debbie Steelman; and his mother-in-law Belva Oliphant. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service (4165 E Allison Rd, Mooresville, IN 46158).
