We bid farewell to Richard Mead Wollard of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Glendale, California, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Richard Mead touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wollard and Mary Jane Wollard (Hushaw); the mother of his children Paulette Wollard; his sister Marilu Campbell; and his grandson Nicholas Eugene Herndon.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Wollard, Jr. (Carolyn) of Lake, Gayle Wollard of Hurst, Hannah Wollard (Noland Wyant) of Zionsville, Joni Chastain (Mark) and Joshua Herndon; and the mother of his children Sherry Wollard of Martinsville, Indiana. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Hoosier Harvest Church (4085 Leonard Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
