He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Asher and Julie Asher (Northern); and his siblings, Jerry Asher, Clarence Asher Jr., David Asher and Marilyn Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Asher (Sloan) of Martinsville, IN; his children, John Asher (Debbie) of Campbellsville, KY, Harvey Weaver (Joy) of Gosport, IN, Cynthia "Cindy" Williams (Matt) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Melody Malak (Dave) of Martinsville, IN; and his brother Larry Dale Ransom (Jane) of Massachusetts. He is also survived by grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center (110 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
