She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Nathaniel Thomas and Phyllis Jean Forney (Martin); her husband David Kipp Drake; her stepson David Sott Drake; and her sister Kim Lester.
She is survived by: her stepmother Kay Thomas of Martinsville, IN; her children, Cory Thomas Drake (Ashley) of Camby, IN and Kellie Jean Cratty (Jeffrey) of Martinsville, IN; and her siblings, Vicki Davis (Bob) of Martinsville, IN, Trina Shinkle (Chuck) of Martinsville, IN, Teresa Bowman (Steve) of Martinsville, IN, Tim of Bedford, IN and Terry Forney of Bedford, IN. She is also survived by grandchildren and five adored great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center (110 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151).
