It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet May Tackett of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Edward and Ruth Elizabeth Ostrum (Billings). She is survived by : her children, Christopher R. Tackett of Ft. Worth, TX, Randy L. Tackett of Martinsville, Albert Allen Tackett of Martinsville and Carolyn Simpson of Martinsville; and her siblings, Robert E. Ostrum Jr., John, Jay, Ronald Ostrum, Sandra Satterfield and Cherylene Sidler. She is also survived by grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
