Barbara Jean Haviza Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 88, Barbara Jean Haviza (Merrillville, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Barbara Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard; her parents, Frank and Ann; and her sisters, Margaret and Arlene. She was also cherished by her daughter, 3 sons, daughter in law, son's fiancé, grandchildren & great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Geisen Pruzin Funeral Home (6360 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church (8303 W Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410).
