She is survived by: her close friend John Sullivan; her children, Debra Kerr, Duwayne Nelson and John Sandridge; her daughter-in-law Shawn Sandridge of Merrillville; and her stepdaughter Wanda Gamble of Big Springs, Texas.. She is also survived by four sisters, two brothers.
