She was predeceased by: her husband Jorge Alcocer Jr.; her parents, Manuel Garcia Sr. and Alicia Garcia; her brother Manuel Garcia Jr.; and her stepmother Gracia Garcia.

She is survived by: her children, Jorge Alcocer III, Dana Alcocer (Randy Meredith) and Juan Carlos Alcocer; her siblings, Maria Teneyuca (late Pete), Esther Mitchell (Michael) and Jaime Garcia Omar (Celeste); her grandchildren, E'von, Trevor, Antonio and Jasmine; and her cousins, Madrina and Irma Rodriguez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
