He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleno Perez and Leonor Perez. He is survived by: his wife Guillermina Perez; his children, Jose Eleno Perez Mata, Angelica Grimaldo (Jorge), Carol Perez Mata, Mauricio Perez Mata, Sandra Perea (Bernardino), Monica Elias and Sylvia Perez; his grandchildren, Salvador, Alejandro, Gerardo, Anayeli, Andrea, Michelle, Ariana "Luli", Mason, Bernie and Petey; and his siblings, Juan, Ernestina, Elia and Rosa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
