He was predeceased by : his parents, Anthony Nawojski and Victoria Nawojski; and his siblings, Ted, Bert Nawojski, Lillian Barcinski and Jean Padol.

He is survived by : his nieces and nephews, Sharon Dobis (Rich), Carol Janssen (Guy), Arlene Wilson, Bob Barcinski (Connie) and Jim Barcinski (Sharon); his godson John Piotrowski; his great-nieces, Lori Dobis Misher (Ken), Cindy Leitson (Alan), Deb Cromer (Jeff) and Erin Felegi (Joe); his great-nephew Jonathan Barcinski; and also, Will, Madeline, Natalie, Rachel, Amy and Anna.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Geisen-Pruzin Funeral & Cremation Services (6360 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410). A prayer was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:15 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church (8303 W Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410).
