He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Spiess and Lila Mae Spiess (Collins); and his siblings, Carolyn Robinson, Gloria Pratt and Arlen Spiess.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stuck; his daughters, Lora Spiess of Odenton, Lisa Barlag (Scott) of Valparaiso and Lynn Alexander (Troy) of Springfield; his brother Norman Spiess of South Bend; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Talmadge, Nicholas Talmadge, Alec Witner and Kaelyn Witner.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of LaCrosse.
