He was predeceased by: his wife Martha; his sons, Ricky, Benny and Ernesto Gutierrez; his siblings, Maria, Heriberto, Andres and Genoveva; his sister-in-law Wanda; his siblings' children, Barry, Ernesto, Mike, Phil, Hector and Melva; and his parents, Tomas Lopez and Sara Lopez.
He is survived by: his children, Sara, Julie of Texas, Cindy of Texas, Irma Gutierrez-Zamudio (Victor), Irene Gutierrez and David Gutierrez; his daughters-in-law, Lupita Felix, Anita and Detrah Gutierrez; and his siblings, Virginia, Raul, Tomas (Mary), Domingo (Vicky), Joseph and Reynaldo (Donna). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
