We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2022, at the age of 87, James F. Demetrakis (Merrillville, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Stamatia J. Demetrakis; his son Philip Demetrakis; his parents, Phillipos Demetrakis and Ermioni Demetrakis; and his siblings, John Demetrakis and Linda "Atalanti" Iraclianos (Ted).

He is survived by: his daughter Amy See (Mark); his grandchildren, Aiden and Emma; his daughter-in-law Nicole Demetrakis; and his nieces and nephews, Spiro Iraclianos, Kathy Chacho (Steve), Nick Demetrakis (Nancy) and Faye Pomianowski.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in James's name to Ss.
