He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Yelachich and Edith Yelachich. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Yelachich; his grandson Bret Yelachich; and his brothers, Joseph Yelachich (Cindy) and Michael Yelachich (Bonnie Coulter).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in John's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
