She was predeceased by: her parents, James Victor Landes and Frances W. Johnson Landes; her husband Chester L. "Chet" Persinger; her son Steven Michael Persinger; and her sisters, Jerry Compton, Dorothy Roberts and Betty Forbes.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, John J. Forbes (Christine) of Merrillville, IN, James R. Forbes (Susan) of Marietta, GA, Robert Compton Jr. (Cathy) of Lincoln City, IN, Timothy Compton (Sharon) of Yoakum, TX, Cynthia Turner (Steven) of Battle Creek, MI and Sandra Sellers (Fred) of Kalamazoo, MI. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
