Richard Karwatka Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Karwatka of Merrillville, Indiana, who passed away on February 23, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Karwatka and Sophie Karwatka; his wife Anne Marie Karwatka; and his siblings, Joan Pierce and Edmund Karwatka.
He is survived by: his children, Amie Richards (James) and Douglas Karwatka (Jessica); his grandchildren, Aaron, Shelby Richards, Madelyn, Sophia, Lukas and Leo Karwatka; his former wife Rox Anne Natale; and his sisters, Arlene Gawrys, Judith Mitchell and Monica Drzewiecki. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, their families; and many friends.
In accordance with Indiana guidelines, those attending visitation are required to wear a mask and social distance.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
