He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis O. Pence and Geraldine Pence (Gardner); and his wife Nancy J. Allison. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Tallant of Chattanooga and Rodney Scott Pence of Brookville; and his brother Rodney Pence (Marilyn) of Brookville, Indiana.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Brookville United Methodist Church.
