He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Roberts and Josephine Roberts (Russell); his grandson Jacob Anthony Roberts; his father-in-law Kermit Collins; and his friend Cecil R. Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Collins; his sons, Timothy Roberts (Heather) of Metamora, Kevin Roberts (Courtney) of West Harrison and Andrew Roberts (Johnna) of Metamora, Indiana; his grandchildren, Aidan, Carson, Jackson, Gavin (Croucher), Haylee, Devin, Hudson, Quinton, Reagan, Shaylynn and Colton (Collins); his children, Amanda Hook, Zach Collins (Cheyenne) and Clairice Venter; his siblings, Anita Wells (Jim) of Metamora, Leroy Roberts (Bonnie) of Laurel, John Jr. Roberts (Donna) of Metamora, Indiana and Lonnie Roberts (Kami) of Metamora, Indiana; and his mother-in-law Mary Collins of Metamora. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews and many, many friends.
