Mary Jo Carpenter Obituary

She is survived by: her parents, Carl Lorenz and Dorothy Armstrong Lorenz of Greentown; her husband Devin Carpenter; her children, Tia Carpenter of Miami County, Dylan Carpenter (Deborah) of Miami County, Tiffany Carpenter of Miami County and Deanna Wray (Elijah) of Kokomo; her grandchildren, Rylee Carpenter, Reece Carpenter and Carly Carpenter; and her brothers, Dr. Lloyd Lorenz (Carol) of Miami County, Dr. Doyle Lorenz (Jane) of Peru, Mark Lorenz (Sharla) of Howard County, Randy Lorenz (Patty) of Miami County and Kevin Lorenz (Cara) of Colorado.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Berean Dunkard Brethren Church (84 W 2nd St, Peru, IN 46970). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
