She is survived by: her sons, Michael Hester Jr. (Shunda) and Dee (Hester); her stepdaughters, Althea Allen and Aleisha Hurt; her brothers, George Roberts (Gloria) of Indianapolis, IN and Charles; her grandchildren, Mykia, Michael III, Shaneika, Daevon, Alanah, Malia, Jaleel, Deion and Jordan; her sister-in-law Juanita Benning of Michigan City, IN; her siblings' children, Pearlie Sanders, Deborah Nelson, Carolyn Judy Nelson (Austin), Donna Southward, Stasi Benning, Debbie Fly, Dennis Hart (Arlena), Nicole Robert, Tamara Roberts and Dawn Roberts; and her close friends, Murtie Reed Janet Thomas, Maxine Hawkins and Shirley Jenes.
