He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Harold Swanson and Gladys Swanson (Keifer); his son Larry J. Swanson Jr. (Kayla); his grandchildren, Ryan, Kayley, Sophia and Quinn; and his sisters, Pat Seymour (Thomas) and Theresa Creager.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, located at 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN 46360. (Covid mandates a limit of 25 people).

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
