He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Barnett and Mary Schwartz (Webb); his daughter Baby Donna Barnett; and his siblings, Maryed McCune (Jim), Anita Mickow, Gary Schwartz, Dennis Schwartz and Vicki Chambers (Dennis).
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Barnett (Sutton); his children, Madison Barnett, Theresa Rymer (Chris), Julie Luz (Octavio), Pepper Bajza, Jon Derbigny III and Drew Cibak; his grandchildren, Ryker, Colton, Andrew, Angelo and Jared; his great-aunt Hazel Hamlet; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Mickow and Carolyn Schwartz. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home (613 Washington St, Michigan City, IN 46360). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
