She was predeceased by : her mother Marguerite; her husband Jimmy Chappell; and her brother William Behn. She is survived by : her children, Jennifer Builta (Steve) and Ross Bauerle II (Becca); her stepson Walter Eskridge; and her grandchildren, Tommy Lewandowski, Ross Bauerle III, Angelica, Opediah, Cody Barnett and Whitney Eskridge. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
