It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Janatik of Michigan City, Indiana, born in Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Firanek and Rosalie Firanek (Hock); her husband Paul P. Janatik; her son Daniel; and her siblings, Olive Pradziad, Joann Jones, Albert and Edward Firenek.

She is survived by : her children, James Janatik (Julie) of Otis, George Janatik (Julie) of Otis, John Janatik (Gail) of Otis, Thomas Janatik of Otis, Timothy Janatik of Otis, Paul S. Janatik (Crystal) of Otis, Dennis Janatik (Beth) of Otis, Cathy Bruning (late John) of Otis and Karen Pahl (Dave) of Otis; and her sisters, Lucille Firanek of Michigan City and Alice Firanek of Westville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
