She is survived by: her siblings, Lacy, Phillip, Valerie Conner (James), Cleo Giles and Peggy Gay; her aunts and uncles, Leon, Joe Carl Higgins, Gloria Martin, Annie Higgins, Doris Martin, Dorothy Smith and Gladys Walton; her husband Colliens "Bill" Albert; her children, Tamara "Cordell" Thomas of Michigan City, IN, Deon Albert Sr. of Michigan City, IN, Arla Albert of Michigan City, IN and Izaiah Albert of Michigan City, IN; her grandchildren, Antonio Conley, Teana Austin, Deon Albert II, Taniya Austn, Deshia Albert, Aniya Thomas, Cordell Thomas Jr., Cameron Thomas, Kahlil Calvin, Adonis Albert and Aa'ziylah Albert; her aunt Geneva Marin of Michigan City, IN; and her close friends, Angie Lattimore and Deatrice Higgins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
