He is survived by: his children, Alexander Jake Mahaffey (Miranda) and Miranda Mary Mahaffey of Michigan City, Indiana; his brothers, Timothy Mahaffey (Kristina) of Mishawaka and Robert Gliva (Wende) of Walkerton, Indiana; his stepmother Janis Mahaffey of Michigan City, Indiana; his aunt Joanne Mahaffey; his siblings' children, Preston Mahaffey and Mary Mahaffey; his mother-in-law Joan Salat of La Porte, Indiana; his grandson Nolan Arthur Mahaffey; and his father-in-law Andrew Salat. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
