She is survived by : her husband Carl Shearer; and her children, Deborah Beer (Dan) of Syracuse, Lydia Shearer of Athens, GA and Douglas Mark Shearer (Sarah) of Houston, TX. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
