He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerlinde Sorg, (Heinrich) and Artur Sorg, Sr.; and his daughter-in-law Amanda Sorg. He is survived by: his sons, Artur "A. J." Sorg III of La Porte and Jeffrey Sorg (Ashley Reyes) of Rolling Prairie; his grandchildren, Sophie Sorg of La Porte, Shayla Sorg of La Porte, Aidan Reyes of Rolling Prairie and Austin Sorg of Rolling Prairie; his siblings, Gabriele Phillips of La Porte, Sue Lawson (Gary) of Mill Creek and Wolfgang Sorg (Sandy) of Mill Creek; his niece Wendy Sorg of Indianapolis; and his son Little League.
