James S. Givens III Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James S. Givens III of Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Givens Jr. and Oleta S. Givens; and his sister Judith L. Givens. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Givens; and his children, Deborah Arisman, James S. Givens IV, Christiane E. Draves (Fred), Cathleen A. Markanich, Carey L. Frost and Scott A. Markanich (Tara). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
