It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Smith of Mishawaka, Indiana, born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Trine and Evelyn Cisney (Hickman); her husband James Smith; her daughter Michelle; and her siblings, Jennifer Rose, Jason and Jeff Cisney.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Fisher (James) of Plymouth, Quincy Barry (Gina) of Mishawaka and David Holloway (Amber) of Indiana; and her siblings, Jeanette Rosemont of Kokomo, Jackie Dillman of Kokomo, Janice Cisney of Kokomo, Julie Corsair of Kokomo and Jim Cisney (Karen) of Swayzee, IN.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Joan's honor may be made to Palmer Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
