It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johanna F. Meersman of Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Janczycki and Anna Janczycki (Jaworska); her husband Charles J. Meersman; her daughter Michelle Meersman; her granddaughter Jamie Stephen; and her siblings, Paul, Mary Miller, John, Agnes Pavlicek, Victoria Petrou, Frank, Joseph, Josephine Eastman, Helen DeBroka, George and Sophie Kinney.
She is survived by: her children, Charles J. Meersman Jr. of South Bend, Anne Stephen (Sean McKean) of Hobart, IN, Kevin Meersman (Janine) and Kris Bergman (Charles) of South Bend; her granddaughter Sharon Bradley (Meersman) of Buchanan, MI; and her children, Tara Stephen of Griffith, IN, Kari Wagner (Scott) of Gaithersburg, MD, Nicolas Meersman (Amanda) of Elkhart, IN and Matthew Bergman of Lakeville, IN. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.
