He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Veevaete and Lora Veevaete (Klein); his wife Janet Elaine Berkey; and his sister Kathryn Veevaete-Watkins. He is survived by: his children, Elaine Kay Veevaete of Mishawaka, Beverly Diane Veevaete of Mishawaka and Michael Allen Veevaete of Mishawaka; and his siblings, Evelyn Pierce (Claude) of Mishawaka and John Veevaete (Marcie-Miller) of Mt. Vernon, IN..

Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home (501 North Elkhart Street, Wakarusa, IN 46573). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
