He was predeceased by: his father Roman M. Popielski, Sr.; his son Ronald P. Popielski; and his great grandchild Aubry Maronek. He is survived by: his children, Tina M. Jenkins (Mike) of South Bend, Peggy S. Jankowski of South Bend, Mark Alan Popielski (Retha) of Lewis, IN, Aaron M. Popielski (Tammy) of Mishawaka and Michael E. Popielski of South Bend; and his siblings, Dolores "Dolly" Stout (Ray) of South Bend and John Popielski (Marie) of South Bend.
