He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew C. Melin, Sr. and Willie Melin (Karrick); his granddaughters, Courtney McCall and Lauren Melin; and his brother Joseph Melin.
He is survived by: his wife Shiela M. Melin of Monticello, Indiana; his children, Andrew C. Melin, III (Alison Coble), BethAnn VanDuyne (Jeff), Matthew P. Melin (Shane Stivers) of Lafayette and Robert T. Melin (Teresa) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Amber McCall, Brittney McCall, Alexis Skinner (Gabe), Andrew C. Melin, IV, Hunter Melin, Jacob VanDuyne, Robert John VanDuyne, Mariah Melin, Cody Melin, Mikayla Melin, Logan Melin and Blake Melin; his great grandchildren, Theodora Skinner, Grayson Skinner, Kyryn McCall, Jaylen McCall and Jaxtyn Morrow; his sister Mary Melin; and his nieces and nephews, Christy Melin, Lorie Marshall, Joey Melin and Jerimiah Melin. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and a lot of friends.
