She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Brown and Pearl Brown; and her siblings, Hubert, Delmer "Del", Donald, Dale "Melvin", Norman Brown and Janice Rice.

She is survived by : her husband Jerald Peterson; her children, Jody Denton of Escondido, CA, Ron Peterson (Linda), Greg Peterson (Melody), Julie Finley (Bill) and Kevin Peterson (Traci); her grandchildren, Chanda Woods, Jarred Woods, Kayla Kersey, Steven Peterson and Jason Archer; and her sister June Booher. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
