Mary Lou Koontz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2021, at the age of 94, Mary Lou Koontz of Mooreland, Indiana, born in Hagerstown, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kirby and Ressie Kirby (Clark); her husband Thomas L. Koontz; her son Jack Koontz; and her siblings, Rex, Ted, Dana Kirby and Peggy Rednour.
She is survived by: her children, Don Koontz (Jennifer) of Springport and Lisa Hay (Chris) of Aurora, IL; her grandchildren, Josh Koontz (Jeremy Duling) of Indianapolis, Jared Koontz (Liz) of Yorktown and MecKenzie Koontz (Dan Hamilton) of Livermore, CA; her great grandchild Maren MecKenzie Koontz; and her brother Mike Kirby (Joyce) of Mooreland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Blue River Dollars for Scholars.
