He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Michael Bird (Ame) of Indianapolis, IN and Samantha Renner (Matt) of Brownsburg, IN.; his parents, Fremon "Dale" Bird and Margaret Elizabeth Bird; and his sister Margaret Ann Tuttle (Jerry). He was also cherished by his three nieces and one nephew, along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
