He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Koljat and Geraldine E. Koljat (Hand); his wife Susan Robinson; his son Brian Koljat; and his brother John Koljat.
He is survived by: his daughter Julia Stevens (David) of Mooresville; his granddaughter Jocelyn Shartzer (Hunter Walters) of Greenfield; his former wife Stephanie "Stevie" Horton (Jerry) of Shoals, Indiana; his daughters, Ana, Sofia, Andrea and Cecy of Detroit, Michigan; his stepchildren, Erica Jaramillo (Jonathan) of Gig Harbor, Washington and Erik Heftye (Michelle) of Country Club, Missouri; his sister-in-law Shari Hamilton of Roswell; his nieces-in-law, Teddi Brackeen (Mark) of Roswell and Kyra Cash; his friends, William and Sylvia Aguilar of Roswell; and also, Alan and Arlo of Roswell.
