She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Edward "Pete" and Vera LaDean Taylor (Howe); her husband Wayne K. Brattain; her son Jeremy K. Brattain; and her sister Phyllis Haas.

She is survived by : her daughters, Lisa A. Albright (Michael) of Indianapolis and Julia A. Warren (Brandon) of Noblesville; her brother Ed Taylor (Pat) of Brookston; and her grandchildren, Taylor Jaynes, Connor Jaynes, Chandler Jaynes, Ethan Albright, Hannah Warren, Trey Warren and Kiersi Warren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the First Christian Church (89 S Main St, Martinsville, IN 46151). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
