She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank A. Kestner and Ruth Kestner (Hanke); her husband Robert Nelms; her siblings, Hubert, Duane Kestner and Marjorie Zoller; her stepdaughter-in-law Linda Nelms; and her stepson Leonard Nelms.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Onger (Jamie) and Janis Valdez; her stepchildren, Jackie Buis (Jim), Robert Nelms and Denny Nelms (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Jacqueline Seely and Brian Karst. She is also survived by seven step grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; one step great great grandchild; seven nephews and four nieces.
Memorials may be given to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
