He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Marlene Parson (McKee); his grandparents, Donald, Louise Parson, William and Edell McKee; and his aunts and uncles, James, Louis, Richard, John Parson, Barbara Bagley, Sue Ellis, Mary Lou Casey, Sharon Elkins, Patty Arnold, Joyce Kemp, Norma Baker, Betty Lucas and Eva Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Parson (Roller); his father Donald R. Parson Sr. of Martinsville; his daughter Jeana MyKelti (Bridgett) of Florida; his stepson Daniel Turpin of Morgantown; his brother Donald R. Parson Jr. (Laurie) of Martinsville; his grandson Isaac "Angel" Duran; his stepgrandchildren, Cayla Fletcher (Hunter), Cody David (Rebecca), Alex Wilkerson and Dylan James; his great grandchildren, Lydia, Laney, Willow and Maple; his sibling's children, Kyle Parson (Logan), Caleb Parson (Chelsey), Casey Parson (Ashlee), Logan Maxwell and Lindsey Dalton; his aunts, Jenny Perry and Judy Crider (Steve); and his uncle William McKee. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the East Hill Cemetery.
