It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bonita L. Wannemuehler of Mount Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Kissel and Pauline Kissel (Ralph); her brother David Kissel; and her son-in-law Gerald "Bud" Parkinson. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Keith Wannemuehler, Paula Parkinson, Dennis Wannemuehler, Donna Folz (Mike) and Maria Berry (Jim); and her siblings, Jackie Kissel, Tony Kissel, Judy Kissel, Debbie Neufelder (Rick) and Tim Kissel.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Catholic Church (3500 St Phillips Rd, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Benedict at the Monastery of the Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana or to St. Philip Catholic Church.
